ABOUT OUR CHURCH
Pastor Randy Ralstin has a tremendous passion for God’s Word coupled with a love for God’s people. Pastor Ralstin founded the Lighthouse Baptist Church on January 18, 1987, with the intent of raising up a “Beacon of Hope in a city of darkness.” …a soul saving station shining forth the glorious light of the gospel in the midst of “Sin City” - Reno, NV
Pastor Ralstin’s ministry philosophy is, “If you believe what the Bible teaches, then attend a church that teaches the Bible.” And that is exactly what you’ll find at Lighthouse Baptist Church—the end of your search for a bible believing church. We understand that the help we so desperately need is not found in the wisdom of men. Listen to the words of the Apostle Paul in 1 Corinthians 2:4-5. “And my speech and my preaching was not with enticing words of man’s wisdom, but in demonstration of the Spirit and of power: That your faith should not stand in the wisdom of men, but in the power of God.”
Each week God’s Word is opened and boldly proclaimed. Each week singers and musicians encourage the congregation to worship the Lord through music. Each week, families are strengthened, encouraged, and drawn closer to Him through these special times together. Every service is carefully planned and prayed over so that God may have an opportunity to work in your life!
